America's leading truckload carriers. Landair offers Dry Van and Dedicated services
to our customers; in fact, the addition of several contracts means that 55% of our
freight is now dedicated.
As some of the highest paid drivers in the industry, our Company Drivers make an average of $41,500 per year, while they average 10-14 days out with approximately 2,400-2,800 miles per tractor per week.

are an increasingly important part of our company. Landair offers Dry Van and Dedicated
services to our customers, and operates three main terminals. The company provides service
in the Eastern half of the nation. As an independent owner operator with Landair, we believe
you will enjoy the type of support that will ensure your success.
Requirements For Owner-Operators
- Signed Contract
- Proof of Worker's Compensation or occupational accident insurance
- Proof of unladen insurance ($1,000,000)
- Bill of sale & Registration
- 2290 Form - paid
- Provide original title or lien holder information
- Signature of a power of attorney
- Tractor cannot be more than 8 years old.
- Tractor wheel base cannot exceed 265"
- Tractor weight cannot exceed 20,500 lbs. full of fuel
- Initial escrow of $500 / deducted $100 / week until paid
- Vehicle must pass initial sign-on inspection; paid by Landair
- QualComm Satellite - installation costs $55-$350, weekly usage charge of $12.50

| Moving Violations |
No more than three moving violations within three years of application date, none serious by DOT standards. |
| Previous Accident restrictions |
No license suspensions of more than 30 days in the last 3 years. No more than two preventable accidents within three years. |
| Felony Restrictions |
No felony convictions ever and no misdemeanors in the last 3 years. |
